Fair Housing is the opportunity to choose where one lives. It is essential to allow individuals and families, across a spectrum of race, ethnicity and disability, with the opportunity to have a choice in the selection of schools, access to job opportunities, and an ability to engage as equal members of the their community.

You may be a victim of Discrimination if you are a member of a protected class and you feel as though someone has done one of the following:

Under the Federal and State Fair Housing Act, you have the right to housing free from discrimination regardless of your: 
Protected Classes
​Refuse to negotiate, rent, sell or otherwise make housing unavailable; or set different terms, conditions or privileges for sale or rental of a dwelling.  
Discrimination also occurs in Mortgage Lending as well.
